Cub Scout Pack 399 will be selling World’s Finest Chocolate Bars and Meat Sticks after Masses on August 18th & 19th and August 25th & 26th. All meat sticks and chocolate bars are $1. Money raised will go toward camping trips, camping supplies, the blue & gold banquet, and other activities.

This effort began as an Eagle Scout Project over 20 years ago, and our scouts continue to support the Grant-a-Wish foundation of Chicago today. Boxes will be placed in the Narthex. St. Hubert Boy Scout Troop 399 will be taking orders for flower flats and containers from Northwood Greenery. The flowers are gorgeous and last all summer into early to late fall. Containers or flats would make a sweet Mother’s day gift. Flower brochure forms and price charts will be available on the church website and available in the narthex. All orders will need to be turned into by Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18th in the Church Narthex.

This Eagle Project is to build shelving units for WINGS in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Candy will be sold after all Masses on May 6 & 7 and the proceeds will help pay for materials for the shelving units. Donating any of the items listed in this article will also help and be given to these women & children in need.

On February 25 & 26 there will be a bake sale in the Narthex of the church before and after all Masses. This is to fundraise for an Eagle Scout project. The project will benefit the school by converting an unused, empty room into a STEM room (science technology engineering and math).
