• MEN4JESUS Starts September 9
    September 5, 2023
MEN4JESUS is an opportunity for the men from local Catholic parishes to get together to build a faith-filled brotherhood and reflect upon and  improve our current spirit lives. During this second season of the program, we will focus on improving our prayer life, gaining a better understanding of scripture, learning new insights about the special seasons of the Church, and gathering strength from the Holy Spirit. We gather once a month in the Parish Ministry Center at St. Hubert Church on Saturday mornings from 7:30 to 9:00am for a total of seven times.

We wrapped up the fist week with an all-school welcome assembly, where we welcomed new students in each and every grade level. We welcome back our cross country team and wish them the best of luck this season. It was absolutely beautiful for a Knight Under the Stars, our Ravinia-style parents night out. Thank you to all who joined us! Track-A-Thon is on September 16, sponsors are still needed and all are welcome to attend.

  • What Does "SS" Mean?
    July 21, 2023
In the Catholic Church, it's an abbreviation for "Saints." There are two capital "S"-es: one for St. Matthew and one for St. Hubert. With a double "S" at the beginning of the title, the word "Saint" doesn't have to be repeated twice. It may take some getting used to, that’s for sure, but the two “S”-es side by side is also a way to show we’re together.

    July 4, 2023
Whether your family is just entering the Church or returning to the practice of the Catholic Faith, all are welcome to inquire about sacramental preparation through the OCIA Process (Formerly known as RCIA). This is the process by which unbaptized young people of the age of reason come into the Church. (Infant Baptism is only for those children under the age of reason.) Older children who are already baptized, but who are uncatechized, also can prepare to celebrate the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist together with their peers during the Easter Vigil or at a Rite of Full Communion.
