We have been named a 2023 School of Excellence by the Chicago History Museum. We had 11 students present at the regional level and 2 advanced to the state competition for National History Day in Springfield, IL. We celebrated our teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! During the season of Easter, what a great time to remember our mothers and ask for God's blessing on them. It is God who ultimately gave us life. It is through God's unselfish love--mirrored in our mothers' willingness to associate their love with God's and take the risk to love us into life--that we have the opportunity for life. We remember our mothers this Mother's Day with much love. Let us pray for each of them:

Did you know more than 17 scholarships have been awarded to St. Hubert Catholic School students for the 2023-24 school year thanks to the Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program? Let your legislators know you value this program, and what it means to the St. Hubert Catholic School community, and ask them to #RemoveTheSunset! Despite its immense success, the Tax Credit Scholarship Program is a pilot program and has a sunset clause, which would end the program in 2023, unless our state lawmakers vote to extend or make the program permanent. It will take you less than one minute to complete the process. Thank you for your support!

For centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of May to honor Mary, the Mother of God. Every Friday morning at 8:00 AM, we gather in church to pray the rosary before the 8:30 AM Mass. It would be wonderful if you could join us in this beautiful prayer. If you are unable to join us, perhaps you could find time to pray the rosary at home. You can pray the rosary along with a recording featuring St. Hubert Parishioners, which can be found on the St. Hubert website under Devotional Prayers.
