Troop 399 is very proud of its 44 year history of turning out young men that understand service to the community, citizenship, servant leadership and Duty to God. Over these 44 years, the Troop has been honored to have over 90 boys attain the level of Eagle Scout. This year seven of our scouts will be graduating from high schools in the area. It is a great feat that all seven have stayed in the Boy Scouts, as a group, since sixth grade. But the truly amazing feat is that all seven will be Eagle scouts. We are proud to introduce you to the team:
Erik Doyle, Eagle, will be attending the Harper Trades program in the fall to become a welder. His project supported the cancer unit at St Alexius Hospital, where his mother was a patient.
Alex Grogman, Eagle, will be attending Illinois State University in the fall to study Marketing and Professional Sales. His project supported the Westbrook Senior Living facility.
Nick Johnson, Eagle, will be attending University of Illinois at Chicago in the fall to study biochemistry. His project supported the WINGS foundation.
Michael Savage, Eagle, will be attending the University of Illinois studying Materials Science Engineering. His project supported the Almost Home animal foundation
Jason Matker, Eagle. In the fall he will be going to Harper and joining the US Marine Corps Reserves. He is planning to major in criminal justice. His project supported the Village Church of Bartlett
Jaydon Romsaithong, Eagle, will be attending Harper in the fall studying in the Trades to become an electrician. His project supported Alliance Bible Church after a flood.
Johnny Waite, Eagle, will be attending University of Illinois Champaign in the fall, studying electrical engineering. His project supported the Almost Home animal foundation.
