On Sunday, April 19
th, Divine Mercy Sunday, St. Hubert is holding a special Drive-By and Drop-Off Food Drive to help provide food to families affected in our area by the Covid-19 crisis from 10 AM to 2 PM.
A drive-by drop-off station will be located by the Main Entrance on the south side of the church. Cars can enter the south parking lot and will be directed one-by-one to the drop off station where food and Jewel Gift Cards can be dropped off into collection bins and basket.
We have checked with St. Aloysius (our Sharing Parish) about their own food needs and they have indicated that their needs are being met by generous donations from the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Therefore, the food we collect will be used to help re-stock the Food Pantry at the Church of the Holy Spirit, which serves our parishioners and others from the Hoffman-Schaumburg area.
The Jewel Cards will be kept and used for those who reach out to us here at St. Hubert through our Community Life Program.
This is one way our parish community can reach out with mercy and love toward our neighbors in need during these challenging times.
May God bless you and keep you and your family safe as we face the days ahead.
