Adult Ministry of Initiation (AMI) may be the place for you!

We follow the OCIA process? (Formally known as RCIA). OCIA stands for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults and it is the process through which people join or complete their initiation into the Catholic Church. Is the OCIA process for me?
 
There are three groups of people who join the OCIA process:

• Those who are not baptized.
• Those who were baptized into another Christian denomination and wish to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church.
• Baptized Catholics who were never formed in the Catholic faith and have not completed their initiation; that is, who have received neither of the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.

 We meet on Tuesday evenings. Sessions begin August 23, 2022. We are scheduling interviews for those thinking about joining the  Catholic Church or Adult Catholics wishing to complete the Sacrament of Initiation. Call Marie Staffa at 847-885-7700, ext. 124 or email her at [email protected].
 
Please note, if you are an adult whose only need of completing your initiation is through the Sacrament of Confirmation or if you are fully initiated but have been away from the Church and interested in returning, know that we have separate ministries to welcome you into or back to the fullness of our Church
