March 19, 2023We received the official Decree from the Archdiocese about the unification of St. Hubert and St. Matthew. There is a link on the home page of our website, but you can also obtain a hard copy in the narthex.
The Archdiocese introduced us to Sara Pelrine, a Project Manager, who will help guide us through the process, which begins with what they call “Data Gathering.” That’s a fancy way of saying that we’ll be looking objectively at each parish to get a handle on everything—especially in three important areas: people, finances and facilities. I met with Sara this past week and she’s meeting with Father Glab this week. After that, we’ll begin to meet together as we look ahead to July 1. Thank you again to everyone who has offered to help out in this process. We have an incredibly generous community, which reveals itself in many ways. I will know more in the weeks ahead and will keep you posted.
