St. Hubert Parish invites you to find out about Jesus and the Church He founded. Come learn his teachings and discover how to put these teachings into practice by living in a Catholic community, through worship, prayer and service. We meet on Tuesday evenings. Sessions began August 23, 2022. We are scheduling interviews for those thinking about joining the Catholic Church or Adult Catholics wishing to complete the Sacraments of Initiation.

A sponsor is an active Catholic that is willing to be a companion to someone going through the OCIA process. As they get acquainted, they listen, answer questions, pray together and connect them with the parish. Sponsors find their role to be one that enriches and deepens their own faith life as well. It is a very rewarding experience.

Every year adults are welcomed into the Catholic Community through OCIA.  It is a learning and loving process in which conversion of the heart brings you to Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Savior. This process will present the Catholic faith journey in an open and comfortable environment.

St. Hubert Church asks sponsors to attend right from the start of OCIA (RCIA). In the early sessions, sponsors help to provide a welcoming atmosphere to the newcomers. Please pray for these men, women and children who are preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation. Sustain them on the journey and may they be surrounded by your love and strength. And as we journey with them, may we be reminded that growth in our own faith is ongoing, life-giving and lifelong.

The Lenten Scrutinies will be celebrated at the following Masses: the  3rd  Sunday of  Lent at the 10:45 AM Mass, the  4th  Sunday of Lent at the  12:15 PM Mass, and the 5th  Sunday of Lent at  the 9:00 AM Mass. Through the solemn laying on of hands by the presider and the community, we invoke the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the elect may be transformed and recreated.

Today we celebrate Rite of Welcome and Acceptance at the 10:45 Mass. We celebrate this ritual by blessing our Inquirers, listening to them, praying for them, giving evidence of the spirit of our Christian community, inviting them into our hearts, and passing on to them our beliefs, traditions and all that we hold sacred and cherish. Please keep our Catechumens and Candidates in CMI and RCIA your thoughts and prayers in the coming months.
